INTRODUCTION

Prime Engineering was established and registered in 1989 to carry out consulting works in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Design and Supervision.

It specialises in building services, water resorurces and environmental engineering, special engineering studies in the field of energy audits, asset valuation and management etc.

AIMS

To be recognized as a leader in Building service Consultancy by excelling in the design and project management of engineering works taking due regard for appropriate technology and the environment.
To train young Engineers and guide them to achieve professional qualifications.
To participate in community work and contribute positively to increased community awareness of engineering in everyday life.
To empower the staff to attain higher levels of achievement within the firm.

CAPABILITIES

Prime Engineering has carried out building services and design and supervision for the provision of air conditioning, ventilation, electrical reticulation including small and heavy current power, emergency lighting, communication networks, solar installations and standby power generation, mechanical services including hot and cold water layout, escalator systems and solar energy.

It has carried out special studies for Government and agencies in a wide variety of fields including feasibility studies, investigations and reports. It can, in addition, draw upon expert advise from affiliated local and overseas consultants in specialized areas where necessary.

Prime Engineering has a drawing office with well-qualified and experienced draughtsmen, which compliments a team of dedicated and professional people whose objective is to provide unexcelled service to its clients

All projects undertaken,have been completed successfully over the last twelve years.

INSURANCES AND OTHER GENERAL PARTICULARS:

A professional Indemnity Insurance cover of K1 million is carried by the Consultancy although the practice has had no history of any legal claim against it since its inception.

As a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Malawi, it observes and follows the code of practice and ethical standards in accordance with that body.

In its quest to improve product quality, PRIME ENGINEERING is in the process of introducing a quality Management program in accordance with INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS ORGANIZATION 9000 standards for Quality Assurance.

Prime Engineering is registered with the NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY COUNCIL.
